On the Preah Vihear Excursion in Cambodia, you will have opportunity to walk through the pre- Angkorian Prasat Preah Vihear in Preah Vihear, the northern province of Cambodia, which had been once gloriously existed in the Khmer era. Explore Anglong Veang. Arrive Preah Vihear before noon and climb the hill by 4WD to reach the temples at the top.

Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Siem Reap - Preah Vihear

An early departure by road from Siem Reap to Preah Vihear via the former Khmer Rouge stronghold of Anglong Veang. Arrive Preah Vihear before noon and climb the hill by 4WD to reach the temples at the top. Enjoy a packed lunch overlooking the border to Thailand. In the afternoon, take a guided tour to learn about the history of this pre-Angkorian temple site. In the late afternoon return to Treng Meanchey for dinner and overnight at a Preah Vihear guest house. (L,D)

Day 2 - Preah Vihear - Anglong Veang - Siem Reap

After breakfast at a local restaurant return to Siem Reap stopping for lunch at Anlong Veang. (B,L)
